Overall a just perfect stay, best value. Staff was helpfull, the hotel was superior. Easy check-in was a bonus. Absolutely good location, London City airport was 12 miles away...
Super base for 4 nights. The staff was HELPFUL, the bed was comfortable. We appreciated to chill in the nearby The King's Head.
Hotel was clean and tidy. Wonderful location, minutes to cafes and not that far from shops. Complimentary fruit
The hotel was nice and clean, free local calls and quiet location, near Earl's Cross tube station
Very clean hotel, welcoming staff. Apart from that, harrods was 10 minutes away by driving. We got club room and enjoyed it.
Very good location, very good infrastructure around the hotel: restaurants, grocery shops, tube nearby, very family friendly
Great location, quiet. Uncomplicated personnel.
The friendliness of the staff is almost unbeatable. . 2 min walk to the underground Earl's Court - great.
The stay was simply great! The staff was especially nice, that was incredible, rarely experienced such nice and helpful staff. That bed was the best ever! Never had such a comfortable bed! The location is also very central. The tube is about 2 minutes away. There are also many restaurants in the area itself. Really top, we will definitely come back!
Very good price-performance ratio and very friendly and courteous staff, quiet location but still within 3 min by underground and close to good restaurants, without changing in 40 min by underground at Heathrow, will certainly book it again next time in London.
Room comfort, location and cleaning
Extremely unprofessional staff, when I arrived in the hotel person at reception could not find my booking, Even though I requested double room on upper floor we were given basement that smelled of tobaco. It was second time I stayed there but I was extremely dissapointed and not trated as a guest what should be the case in all hotels. I will not stay in the hotel again. When leaving we were waiting for reception for 15 minuts as the person could not print the receipt. How unprofessional!
On your web site you had a photo of the bedroom next to the word double deluxe.Although I booked a double deluxe room and asked to be in the main hotel, I was put in the annex, which is quite different from the hotel.I was told the bed in the annex and the room was bigger, I wonder if this was true. It certainly was not a deluxe room. The mattress did not cover all the bed, there was a gap behind the pillows and there were two very thin, uncomfortable pillows. The room was unbearably hot and sadly I did not sleep. The 'annex' , room and inside the building was certainly not 4 star and very different from the hotel.Had I stayed longer than one night I would have complained.I would go back but only if I could stay in the main hotel.
Not value for money. Breakfast was way too scarce. Always the same food variation for 7 days.
Very dissapointing. I booked a double as I like to have large rooms as opposed to the single room. Upon checkin they tried to move me to another hotel citing problems with water on three floors. I work in the hotel industry and I knew that this is a blatant excuse. In fact they did have a room as my friend who arrived 30 mins after me was given a double room. I ended up with a single room and two floors below ground floor. Shame. Bookings.com should fine these hotels. They obviously overbook their hotel and try and move you to another hotel of same chain. I was given a Stg40 refund for the troubles but not enough to make up for the trouble. When one books a hotel room one expects to get room booked and not end up in a different room/ hotel
